Motif Dive Center

For those who don't know Motif and want to remember it:

Motif, one of the first diving centers of Bodrum, was founded in 1991 by Şevket and Şeref Sevi brothers. First of all, Viking has been a comfortable, safe and warm diving platform for its guests in Bodrum for many years with its Thalassa-1998 boats since 1.

The dive center was a company that the family always supported. Idil, the eldest of the nieces, was part of the team on the boat for years. However, when he finished university, hemoved to Istanbul to study computer engineering, which was his department, and started to work, thus taking a break from his beloved diving life.

In 2012, Şevket Sevi passed away. The diving center decided to continue and İdil left her job and life in Istanbul and settled in Bodrum. Going back to diving, keeping a memory alive, was more important than a career. Until the end of 2016, he and Şevket Sevi's wife, Elisabeth, continued to operate the diving center.

At the beginning of 2017, when İdil married Burak Baydar, who also worked as a diving instructor and engineer in Ankara, and settled in Ankara, the idea of a diving center emerged.

The name was already known. The name Motif should have lived on for the memory of Şevket Sevi, who taught us how to dive, to share, to be good, to compete beautifully, to touch everyone's hearts. And he had to do it with all his nieces and nephews, whom he loved like his own child.
