Local Divers: Koh Chang PADI Dive Center

Local Divers was founded by Koh Chang's first local PADI instructor. Our founder, Tea, spent a year building the dive shop by hand next to his childhood home in Bang Bao, a charming fishing village on the southern tip of Koh Chang.

With over 17 years of diving experience and more than 10,000 dives logged, Tea has an unparalleled knowledge of Koh Chang’s waters. His expertise in local marine life, combined with a keen eye for spotting creatures others might miss, has earned him a reputation as one of the top dive instructors on the island. Tea is passionate about following PADI safety standards while ensuring every dive is an enjoyable and memorable experience for divers of all levels.

We offer daily trips, alternating between the Local Sites of Koh Chang and Koh Rang National Park, for snorkeling, fun dives, discover scuba dives (those who do not have a certificate) and all PADI courses from Open Water through Dive Master.
