Alaia is a 13-year-old world traveler and Junior PADI Open Water Diver. With dive professionals and marine biologists as parents, a love for the ocean and conservation comes naturally. She has lived in Mexico and Spain, where she’s taken part in Posidonia seagrass conservation in Mallorca and coral nursery cleaning in the Caribbean.
Her favorite marine experiences so far include snorkeling with whale sharks and diving with rays, and she’s especially excited to one day dive with sharks and turtles. Alaia is eager to keep logging dive time and exploring the underwater world.
