Biografie
Janavi Kramer is an internationally acclaimed Ocean Artist and Scientific Illustrator whose work is deeply shaped by her life underwater. Since discovering diving in 2014, the ocean has become both her greatest teacher and creative muse - profoundly influencing not only where she explores, but how she tells stories through art. Through intricate watercolour illustrations and visual storytelling, Janavi creates a window into the world below, celebrating the ocean’s beauty, complexity, and biodiversity. Every brushstroke, image, and conversation is an invitation - to look closer, care deeper, and take small actions that ripple outward into meaningful change. At a time when our oceans face unprecedented threats, Janavi believes impactful storytelling has never been more important. Her work aims to inspire people not only to fall in love with the sea, but to feel empowered to protect it. When she’s not painting or diving, Janavi is driven by a deep love of exploration - always seeking her next ocean adventure, whether discovering a new dive site or encountering an unusual marine creature!
