What is 100% AWARE?
100% AWARE is an exclusive partner giving program available to all PADI Dive Centers, Resorts and Professionals to facilitate conservation support through the PADI certification card process.
The partnership was created due to the demand of passionate PADI dive operators eager to support PADI AWARE Foundation marine conservation goals in a systematic, simple way. 100% AWARE Partners directly support the protection of the underwater world, combat the ocean's greatest challenges, and engage loyal customers who appreciate and value operators with a clear environmental ethos.

Our Strategy
Our mission is to advance the PADI Blueprint for Ocean Action.
(1) Reduce marine debris by 50% in targeted countries (2) Multiply the number of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs), protecting 30% of the ocean by 2030 (3) Protect 20 endangered and vulnerable marine species (4) Restore 5% of coral reef habitats through citizen science programs and project funding (5) Reduce the carbon footprint of the diving industry by achieving carbon neutrality across the PADI organization and funding seagrass and mangrove habitats

Join The Community
100% AWARE works by turning your dive center into a shopfront for PADI AWARE Foundation rather than an annual donor.
First, you commit to the programme and PADI AWARE gives you marketing materials, digital assets and activation support to start promoting monthly giving. Then, every diver you sign up joins the AWARE community as a monthly donor, connected directly to PADI AWARE and attributed back to your dive center as the referring partner.
In return, dive centers earn recognition, rewards and future membership incentives — and if you sign up 10 or more monthly donors, your dive center's yearly annual donation is waived.
As an 100% AWARE partner, you are consistently advancing the Blueprint for Ocean Action, supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.

Yes! When processing through PIC online, you can select which edition of the AWARE card you would like.
A new card design is launched annually featuring imagery from prominent marine photographers.
All physical PADI certification cards are currently made from 70% post-consumer recycled plastic. We are working together to get this figure as close to 100% as possible. Physical cards are still essential in remote areas without internet access but we provide and promote e-cards whenever possible. You can see the full PADI AWARE supply chain policy here.
