Palau is an island country located in the western Pacific Ocean which is part of the larger island grouping of Micronesia. With so many dive sites that belong at the top of your wish list, it’s hard to know where to start. You’ll find everything from World War II (WWII) wrecks to shark and manta cleaning stations to caverns.
Palau is a divers paradise jam packed with marine wildlife and dive sites galore. The marine life one can expect to see includes various shark species, chevron barracuda, mandarin fish, sea turtles, anemone fish, pyramid butterfly fish, anthias and much more. Jellyfish Lake is home to two very unique-looking species of scyphozoan jellyfish: the golden jellyfish and the moon jellyfish.
