Calypso Dive Center

Calypso Dive Center has been in Maspalomas in the south of the island since 1996. You will find the dive center at the front of the Hotel Dunas Mirador Maspalomas Sonnenland, where they offer a wide range of PADI courses and dive sites ranging from beginner marine Reservations , abundant in marine life for the deepest shipwrecks for the most advances.

The ocean of the Canary Islands is warmed by the Gulf Stream in the Atlantic, which prevents the water from falling below 18ºC during the winter. Volcanic rock has eroded away at many of the dive sites to create spectacular underwater arches, passageways and arches, sculpted by waves when sea levels were lower during the last ice age. In short, it is a magical place to dive.
