PADI ReActivate

Refresh your dive skills and regain
your confidence in the water.

PADI ReActivate

Haven’t been diving lately and want to refresh your dive skills? The ReActivate® program is the perfect way to regain your confidence and update what you learned in the PADI Open Water Diver Course before jumping back into the water.

3 Reasons to ReActivate

Planning a Dive Vacation

Many dive shops require a refresher course if it’s been more than a year or two since your last dive. Take a ReActivate course and get inspired for your next trip!

For Your Own Confidence

When you go diving, you should be confident in your own skills. If you are asking yourself questions like– Is this how I set my gear up? What do I do if my mask floods?, then you really should refresh your skills.

For Your Buddy

When you go diving, you want your buddy to have the skills to handle any situation that might arise underwater. This goes both ways, so show your buddy the same courtesy and brush up on your skills.

PADI Presents ReActivation

Professional Freediver Kimi Werner and her sister Christy refresh their scuba skills so they can experience the magic of the underwater world together.

“Being underwater with someone is especially bonding because you’re sharing an experience that’s only between the two of you. When you come out of the water, that’s your little secret; that’s your special bond; that’s something that only the two of you went through together and whether you verbalize it or not it’s going to now be ingrained with you and that sensation lasts far beyond the dive.”

Meet: Kimi Werner

Kimi’s spirit and her lifestyle have influenced her many followers to live better and more sustainable lives. The ocean has long been a source of sustenance, inspiration and adventure for Kimi. As a young child growing up in coastal Maui, she floated behind her father as he freedove for her family's primary food source. Only later as an adult on Oahu did she understand the central role the ocean was to play in her life when she discovered her own passion for freediving.

The minute freediving entered my life when I was 24, I knew I had found my destiny,” Kimi said. "I love freediving because it’s my form of meditation. There’s a process of slowing down every single cell in your body because, in order to hold your breath and spend time in the underwater world, you have to take yourself to a place of calm.
