Larnaca is Cyprus’ third largest city after Nicosia and Limassol. Larnaca port and marina is one of four gateways to Cyprus through sea.
Larnaca is home to fascinating and unique marine life. You'll encounter sting rays, amber jacks, cuckoo, wrasse, bream, scorpion fish, groupers and occasionally a turtle. It is also a great destination for those seeking octopus, colorful sponges, soft corals and sunken treasures from ancient times past.
The major locations in the city are Hala Sultan Tekke Mosque, Church of Saint Lazarus, Roman ruins (complete with a full aqueduct), a flamingo filled salt lake, the palm tree seafront. Larnaca is also the best place from which to explore the world-famous Zenobia Wreck.
