Maëlly Faure

Sometimes taking the road less traveled leads to the greatest discoveries, as 28-year-old Maëlly Faure can attest. Born in Saint-Raphaël on the French Riviera and raised on the island of Corsica, Maëlly has always been deeply connected to the ocean. Now working as a professional underwater videographer, photographer, and social media content creator, her passion for the sea shapes every aspect of her life. A PADI Ambassadiver and Instructor, Maëlly's journey into diving was inspired by her mother, a recreational diver, and has become a central part of her identity.

Having lived in Thailand before returning to Europe, Maëlly says, "Leaving France to pursue my dream of becoming a diver was the best decision of my life. It has transformed my mental health and given me a purpose beyond anything I could have imagined."

As a PADI Instructor, sidemount diver, and underwater photographer, Maëlly specializes in content creation for dive shops and dive brands worldwide. From social media management to UGC content creation and professional photography using her Sony A7V, she helps businesses showcase the beauty of the underwater world. Her work has taken her diving across Thailand, Indonesia, the Maldives, Turkey, France, Spain, Denmark, and Egypt. Alongside her partner Tomas, who assists with filming, gear management, and travel logistics, Maëlly continues to pursue her mission: to share her love for the ocean, advocate for mental health awareness, and inspire others to explore the wonders beneath the waves.

• 2018 : Completed her diving journey from Open Water Diver to Divemaster (0 to hero).
• 2019 : Completed underwater videography course and PADI Instructor certification, establishing the foundation for her professional career.
• 2023 : Launched her career as a dive shop photographer and social media manager in Koh Tao, Thailand, while building her presence as a content creator specializing in ocean-related content.
• 2024 : Worked full-time creating content for dive shops and dive brands, expanding her services to include professional photography for Discover Scuba Diving programs, Open Water courses, and recreational divers.
• Current : Professional underwater photographer and videographer, social media content creator, and social media manager specializing in ocean and dive industry brands. Available for content creation projects, dive shop partnerships, UGC campaigns, and brand collaborations worldwide.
