Dani Wentzel is a marine researcher turned passionate ocean storyteller, dedicated to bringing the wonders and vital urgency of the underwater world to life through her work. Holding a degree in marine biology and oceanography from the University of Cape Town, her early research focused on species ranging from sharks in Aliwal Shoal to manta rays in Mozambique. Today, she merges this deep scientific knowledge with visual communication, creating compelling narratives that connect people to the beautiful, essential fragility of marine ecosystems. Dani is committed to protecting places like the intricate kelp forests, ensuring every story she shares encourages action to protect what we stand to lose.
