Adam Stern

PADI Freediver Instructor Trainer

Biography

Adam Stern grew up in a small surfing town just north of Sydney, Australia but it wasn't until he was 21 years old, backpacking through Asia, that he discovered freediving. “I loved it instantly – the freedom and the weightlessness,” he says. “I quickly became fascinated by how I kept diving deeper but felt increasingly comfortable with each dive.”

Before long, Adam was travelling the world competing in freediving competitions in the Red Sea, Asia and the Caribbean Sea. Adam began to teach freediving and found just as much passion for teaching as he did for his own diving. It is Adam’s mission to promote safe diving practices and spread freediving education so that as many people as possible can experience the underwater world on one breath.
