Financial Analyst

Reporting to the VP, Finance & Operations of PADI Americas, the Financial Analyst will be responsible to provide analysis and review of the PADI Americas business and support the budgeting and forecasting processes, identify trends and efficiency opportunities, and own the intercompany accounts for all Americas entities.

What You Will Do
  • Utilizing Tableau, analyze the ongoing PADI Americas business to identify and forecast trends, and where applicable, identify anomalies or opportunities for improvement and propose recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast process including template development, training, consolidation, review of sales and expense plans, and reporting.
  • Prepare the Company’s monthly financial and KPI reporting package including supporting analysis for review and submission to Company’s Corporate Finance team.
  • Regularly report analyses and reports on relevant operating and financial metrics to management.
  • Provide business financial support to operations, sales, marketing, supply chain, and distribution departments with data-driven analysis and value added business analyses to aid in decision making.
  • Manage and process the PADI Canada bi-monthly payroll and related tasks (401k funding, vacation liability reconciliation, etc.)
  • Oversee all intercompany accounts ensuring alignment with the other global offices in Australia, Canada and UK.
  • Assist the PADI Americas accounting team with the year-end audit as needed
Skills and Experience You’ll Need to Be Successful In This Role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum three years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and reporting systems.
  • Experience with Macola, Tableau and Crystal reports preferred.
  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial planning principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all varying levels of management.
  • Fluency in English is a requirement. Fluency in French is a plus.
