Calling all photo enthusiasts!
Calling all photographers (amateurs, professionals and students alike), submit your best underwater or diving lifestyle photo in PADI Diving Society’s 2010 Member Card Photo Contest.
Photos must be submitted by September 22, 2009. 
About the Contest:
Each year, the PADI Diving Society introduces a limited-edition Society membership card. In the past we’ve used photos from our own collections or invite renowned underwater photographers to provide striking images. However, with the growth of Digital Underwater Photography, and more and more divers capturing their underwater experiences, we decided to do something different for 2010 and create a worldwide search!
Judges from PADI and Sport Diver magazine will select three regional winners. Each PADI Diving Society office will then submit their regional winners in the 2010 Member Card Online Voting Contest. Voting will be open to everyone in October– look for opportunities to vote on this page, PADI’s Blog, MySpace and Facebook pages.
The final winner will be announced November 2009 and will receive a certificate, global recognition, plus bragging rights!
Voting begins October 1st - please check back then to cast your vote!
How can you participate?
Submit up to three photos of your best underwater or diving lifestyle photos as high resolution images minimum 300 dpi; in a horizontal digital image in proportion to 9.56 x 6.4cm or 3.75 x 2.5 inches.
How to Submit Your Entry:
- Email all entries (maximum of three photographs) to aja.smith@padi.com with subject header: 2010 Society membership card entry.
- Include your name, mailing address, contact number and Society membership number, if applicable.
- All entries must be accompanied* with a signed Photo Release document.
You do not have to be a PADI Diving Society Member to participate. All entries must be received by 22 September 2009 so start diving for those photos now!

Get started by contacting your local PADI Dive Center or Resort today to learn the art of Digital Underwater Photography. You have plenty of time to take the course and start collecting photos to submit for the contest!
*Photo submissions accompanied without a Photo Release will be disqualified.
