The Center for Disease Control (CDC) lifted the advisory discouraging all nonessential travel to Mexico on May 15. As a result, the US travel alert related to the 2009-H1N1 influenza outbreak in Mexico is no longer in effect.
Likewise, The Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade has lifted its Canadian travel advisory for Mexico because the cases have steadily decreased since April and cases in Canada and the United States have remained fairly mild.
