ELIGIBILITY: PADI Dive & Win Contest (“Contest”) is open to Individuals 13 years or older who complete PADI Open Water, PADI Jr. Open Water, PADI Scuba Diver or PADI Jr. Scuba Diver certification during the months of November 2012 through 31 January 2013. In addition, any individual who referred a new PADI Diver entering the Contest is also eligible to submit his/her own entry and win. No purchase is necessary to enter, and become eligible to win, in the following member countries of the European Union (EU) and of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and in the following US States: Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Dakota, Tennessee and Vermont. Qualified persons fill out the online Contest Entry Form at padi.com (including accurately providing all requested contact information, including name, address, date of birth, phone number and email address) and answer the contest question (“Contest Question”) to become entrants (“Entrants”) in the Contest. Contest is void in Japan and anywhere restricted or otherwise prohibited by law. Employees, officers, directors, or family member(s) of an employee, officer or director of PADI Worldwide Corp. or its affiliates, and those assisting in administering the Contest, are not eligible.
GENERAL RULES AND CONDITIONS: By participating in the Contest, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Entrants’ answers to the Contest Question will be judged by representatives of the PADI Marketing Department for the prizes listed below. Entries will be eligible for all prizes for which Entrant’s submission was received by the entry cut-off except that Entrants are eligible for one smaller prize only, and winning entries will be excluded for further consideration for other iPad or Camera prize awards. Winners of the smaller prizes (iPads or Cameras) will be considered for the Grand Prize. Entries must be received by 12:00 a.m. PST at least 5 days prior to any prize award date for consideration. Entrants give PADI unlimited rights to use responses to the Contest Question promotionally and each Contest Winner gives PADI unlimited rights to use Winners’ name and picture, globally, in advertising and publicity and for any other PADI use, without further compensation, where permitted by law. Such promotional use may include, but is not limited to, Facebook, Twitter and padi.com, and press releases, in any medium including, but not limited to digital, worldwide internet, paper or any other medium. PADI’s decisions and selection of the Winners shall be final.
HOW TO ENTER: Entrants complete the Contest Entry Form on padi.com and answer the Contest Question, “I became, or would like to become, a PADI Diver because…” (one Contest Question answer per Entrant). Winners will be chosen and announced on a weekly and monthly basis, respectively, from Contest entries beginning 1 November 2012 and ending 31 January 2013. Additionally, Contest grand prize winner will be chosen and announced on or before 15 February 2013. Entries received after 7 February 2013 will be ineligible for any prize.
HOW WILL ENTRIES BE JUDGED? The judges will review all eligible entries received and select finalists for each of the Contest prizes on the dates listed below, based upon inspiration, originality and/or humor.

Grand Prize Award (Approximate value US$5000. Actual value depends on the date/time/destination) to be awarded on or before 15 February 2013:
Prize Package Trip for Two onboard an Aggressor Fleet LiveAboard dive yacht provided by Aggressor Fleet. Prize Package includes the following:
- One-week on LiveAboard dive yacht, Turtle Cove Marina Turks & Caicos Islands boarding Saturday between 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm, returning to Turtle Cove Marina Friday after lunch, with checkout the following day (Saturday) at 8:00 a.m.
- Ground transportation to/from Providenciales (PLS) International Airport to the dive yacht
- A week of diving, including equipment and air
- Double or twin share cabin with private bathroom
- Friday evening the yacht hosts a sunset cocktail party; Friday night dinner is not included in the prize package
- All other meals while aboard the Aggressor LiveAboard dive yacht are included in the prize package
- Roundtrip coach airfare for Winner and Winner’s guest from a major international airport to Providenciales International Airport (PLS), Turks & Caicos Islands
-Incidental expenses such as alcoholic beverages, tips and gratuities are the responsibility of Winner and Winner’s guest

WINNER SELECTION: PADI will notify the winners by telephone or e-mail within 3 business days of Winner selection. If PADI is unable to reach the winner within 3 business days of selection, the judges may make a new determination from the remaining entries and award the prize to an alternate entrant. Winners will also be posted on padi.com within 3 days of Winner confirmation. PADI is not responsible for lost or misdirected emails. Winner will be required to sign a release allowing PADI and/or its affiliates to use Winner’s name and image. If a signed release is not received within 3 days of Winner receiving it, PADI reserves the right to select a different winner. The odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received. Grand Prize trip must be taken by 15 February 2014 (trip not available during holidays and other blackout periods). Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes.
