Project AWARE Executive Director
The Executive Director serves in a leadership role as the Chief Executive Officer of Project AWARE. He/she is responsible for implementing the policies of the organization as set by the Board of Directors and for implementing the financial, programmatic and administrative objectives of the organization. He/she is responsible for the development and oversight of global Project AWARE partnerships including alignment of global development and mission activities among Project AWARE international offices. The position requires strong management and communication skills, experience in development and fundraising, diving/dive industry experience, and knowledge and commitment to marine conservation.
Production Planner
The Production Planner provides requisitions using MRP for purchasing to buy product, manage inventory by using MRP, provide sales forecasts, schedules for in-house, vendor assembly and maintain inventory levels worldwide without over buying and avoiding back-ordered situations. Supports cycle count program, assists management to ensure product availability, manage the quality of product being produced by providing accurate samples to assembly vendors, and provide solutions to improve the inventory and planning process.
Production Artist/Graphic Designer
Responsibilities of this role include use of Adobe Creative Suite of software running on the Macintosh platform to design and lay out course materials, newsletters, forms and other product in English and multiple other languages. The Production Artist/Graphic Artist works with the Product and Translation Specialist to ensure that production work is reviewed, approved and completed on schedule. They also work directly with outside printers of paper and plastic products for the upload and approval of production files, review product proofs and are responsible for approval of final product prior to acceptance by the company.
