Eilat, Israel, September 29, 2008 - We are pleased to announce
the 4th Annual International competition. Underwater photographers from all over
the world have already started to send their photos to the "Images of the World"
competition, including
Steven Kovacs of Clewiston, Florida. Earlier this month Kovacs won the U.S.
Photographer of the Year competition hosted by PADI and Sport Diver. Grand prize
for Steven, a diver of 12 years, is a trip to Eilat to enter the competition and
showoff his 8 years of underwater photography!
It’s not too late for other photographers to participate in the main event. Professional
and amateurs are all welcome! Deadline for receiving entries is 15 October 2008.
Prizes for this year’s competition have reached a total amount of $80,000.

This category is open to all photographers, amateurs and professionals alike present at the competition. It’s the
“Eilat
Shoot-Out” meaning that photographs have to be
taken in Eilat during November 11-13 2008.
