PADI Receives Certification of Compliance with new ISO Standards

On 14th June 2008, representatives of PADI received certificates from Dr Peter Jonas of EUF Certification International, stating PADI’s compliance with the suite of ISO standards covering the delivery of recreational diver training. Previously, independent inspectors had visited the offices of PADI and as a result of the stringent audit were able to certify that the three PADI offices active in the European marketplace, PADI Europe, PADI International Ltd and PADI Nordic comply with all relevant aspects of the standards. Previously, PADI had received similar certification of compliance with the European Standards on which these ISO Standards were based. Mark Caney, Vice President of PADI International Ltd, said, “We are delighted to have this independent validation of the quality of PADI training. This proof of our compliance with these important international standards adds even more strength to the international value of the PADI brand to our divers and industry professionals.”
