The Great Outdoors – the perfect place to escape to, tackle the pulsating river currents and submerge yourself into the underwater world …all under one roof!

From Friday 14th March to Sunday 16th March 2008 at the NEC Arena, Birmingham, this year’s show will get you these steps closer to escape.

Ever wondered what it would be like to scuba dive indoors? Well imagine no more! The PADI Zone is equipped with a dive pool organised and run by Blue Planet Aquarium, (sorry, they aren’t bringing any fish with them!) giving those with a taste for new experiences the chance to submerge themselves, literally, in the event.

For those who have recently developed an interest in diving or want to encourage a friend to give it a go, PADI instructors are ready to get people kitted up and into the water. You’ll even be able to capture your experience on camera as the pool will be equipped with cameras and print equipment courtesy of PADI’s partners, Cameras Underwater and Canon UK.

 

Don’t forget to bring along your voucher to collect a copy of PADI’s GO Dive DVD – free of charge to show-goers on production of a valid voucher. If you’re short on time but still want to learn to dive ask us about doing your PADI Open Water course online with eLearning!

But it doesn’t end there. The SITA Dive Village will have six representatives from the finest diving gear manufacturers. They will be showcasing their exciting and innovative gear as well as offering their expert advice on all diving issues.
