Prize Holiday for MSD Challenge Winner

In December, Jean Taylor, Master Scuba Diver and winner of the PADI 2006 Master
Scuba Diver Challenge, enjoyed her free prize holiday with her husband Alan in Egypt.
Jean and Alan both qualified as Master Scuba Divers on the same day with PADI Instructor
Thomas Hunt of the Red Sea Diving College, in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
She was picked from entrants across PADI International Ltd territory in the Master
Scuba Diver Challenge prize draw to win a diving holiday for two.
As her prize, Jean chose to go back to Sharm, one of her favourite dive spots in
Egypt, and to dive with the Red Sea Diving College again. The prize holiday included
flights, transfers, hotel accommodation and one week's diving for both of them,
paid for by PADI and arranged through experienced agents Longwood Holidays.
Unfortunately, due to illness, Alan was unable to take part in the diving aspect
of their holiday, however he was able to enjoy some excellent snorkeling (and found
that his luggage was a lot lighter than usual!). On arrival, Jean checked in with
Guy Haywood at the Red Sea Diving College, “When we found out Alan wouldn't be able
to dive I thought it would spoil the enjoyment for us both, but after getting a
'pep talk' from Alan off I went. Guy was lovely and found me some great guides to
dive with”.
Despite not being able to dive, Alan still managed to take some great photos of
Jean and her buddy enjoying themselves in the Red Sea.
The PADI 2007 Master Scuba Diver Challenge winner will be arranging their prize
holiday in the coming weeks and the competition is now up and running again for
2008.
To enter, simply complete the entry form available under ‘Special Offers’ on padi.com
and you too could be a lucky winner. As Jean puts it: “Two words really - absolutely
fantastic - to win a holiday is good, to win a diving holiday even better, but to
spend it amongst people we consider to be friends just made it extra special.”
