The PADI Offices receive far more compliments and positive comments about PADI Divemasters,
Assistant Instructors, Instructors, Dive Center and Resorts than complaints. So
many come in, in fact, that it is impossible to publish all of them. Below are some
of the most recent and conspicuous examples.

The following list identifies former individual PADI Members who have been expelled
from the PADI organization within the last six years. These individuals are no longer
PADI Members and therefore may not conduct PADI programs nor represent themselves
as PADI Members.
Note that the PADI family expels members only as a last resort. The Quality Management
Process follows an extensive process that includes fact checking, getting all perspectives
(including the member’s) about the issue, and when necessary corrective re training
and cooperative compliance. Expulsion only results when the PADI Member refuses
to implement corrective measures, or when the nature of the complaint is so severe
that expulsion is necessary to protect the public and/or to preserve the reputation
of the PADI family at large.
PADI Members can also be suspended. This is a temporary status during which the
PADI Member may not teach or assist with PADI courses. If you have a question about
whether a PADI Member is suspended, please contact the Quality Management Department
for your PADI Office.
