Quality Management
The PADI Quality Management Department monitors the quality of PADI programs. Quality
Management checks that PADI Professionals comply with PADI training standards while
conducting PADI programs. This process rewards PADI Members by tracking compliments
from pleased PADI Divers, and provides guidance and correction when errors turn
up. Punitive measures (suspension and expulsion) result only from blatant refusal
to follow training standards and corrective measures.
Quality management is both proactive and reactive. Proactively, Quality Management
Department sends out questionnaires randomly to PADI Divers and analyzes the results
for positive replays as well as negative replies and possible training problems.
Reactively, the Quality Management Department receives and follows up on telephone
calls, letters and emails from PADI Professionals, PADI Divers and consumers. Please
