PADI International Ltd. Becomes Beacon Company

PADI International Ltd. recognized for international business excellence.

In April 2007 PADI International Ltd was awarded the status of ‘Beacon’ Company by Beacon South West, for influencing worldwide standards and regulations and showing strengths such as great organisational structure and branding.

Beacon South West is an organisation that works to bring together some of the South West of England’s most forward thinking and ambitious companies to promote success and spearhead the growth of the region.

Beacon status denotes outstanding business achievement.

The ‘Beacon’ status is an award given to companies who demonstrate outstanding achievement across a range of criteria. PADI International Ltd fulfilled these criteria, and the Beacon South West auditing team particularly emphasised PADI’s strengths in influencing standards and regulations worldwide, showing great organisational structures, devolved responsibilities, resilience, flexibility and branding.

By receiving this prestigious status, PADI International Ltd will be added to Beacon South West’s portfolio of 'Beacon' Companies, to which other business can look for inspiration on leadership and examples of great business performance.

Beacon South West is supported by the South West of England Regional Development Agency, and PADI International Ltd. will now be among the members who play an important role in cultivating the enterprise excellence that exists in the region.

Mark Caney, Vice President, Training, Education and Memberships at PADI International Ltd oversaw the auditing process on behalf of the company and liaised with the Beacon team.
