PADI Instructor Benefits Continue to Grow with DAN’s Student Membership Program

DAN and PADI protect new divers and provide peace of mind to PADI Pros.

8 May, 2007 – Rancho Santa Margarita, CA – PADI Instructors can tap into a valuable benefit protecting new divers and PADI Members alike – the DAN Student Membership Program. This free program furnishes entry-level divers in the DAN Americas region limited insurance coverage for the duration of their PADI Open Water Diver course, providing up to $20,000 US of recompression treatment insurance at no cost to the diver or the instructors who teach them.

When PADI Instructors enroll their student divers in the Student Membership Program, they take another a proactive step towards keeping their student divers safe in the event that an accident should occur during training. Should this happen, enrollment in the DAN Student Membership Program ensures that student divers have some coverage in place.

PADI Instructors also earn points for enrolling student divers in DAN’s Student Membership Program, which can be redeemed at DAN for products, membership and even select PADI educational materials. Instructors earn one point for every ten student divers enrolled via paper roster, and one point for every five student divers enrolled online. PADI Instructors will need to register with DAN in order to use the online enrollment option.

The Student Membership Program is open to all PADI Instructors teaching in the PADI Americas region serviced by the PADI Americas office. DAN’s Student Membership Program is designed to complement instruction with minumum effort required by the instructor.
