Emergency First Response® Offers Instructor Trainer Course at DEMA

Course Creates New Opportunities for
Emergency First Response Instructors and Dive Centers

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA, 19 September 2006 – Emergency First Response Corp is joining its corporate affiliate, PADI Americas, to offer Instructor Trainer Courses at the 2006 DEMA Show in Orlando in November. Attendees can significantly expand their opportunities with the addition of the prestigious Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer credential, and still take advantage of the many other seminars PADI is offering.

Those attending the Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer Course will learn how to train others as Emergency First Response Instructors. They can then offer the Emergency First Response Instructor Course at their local dive center or resort, or in their community. This means increased revenue for PADI Dive Centers and Resorts through EFR™ awareness as well as through instructor course training fees and product sales. “Greater brand awareness is an advantage for EFR Instructors,” says Brad Smith, Director of Business Development and Training at Emergency First Response. “As new EFR Instructors teach lay providers, the awareness of our programs grows, which is helping EFR Instructors enter new markets like schools, businesses and government agencies.”

Completing the Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer Course at DEMA this year will allow seminar attendees to take advantage of the winter months to fill their training schedules and boost income. EFR recommends that dive operations and instructor trainers offer a package that combines both instructor training and course materials to maximize revenue.

To qualify for the Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer Course, you must be an active EFR Primary Care/Secondary Care and Care for Children Instructor, have issued 25 completion cards or taught five classes, and have no verified quality assurance issues in the past twelve months. The Instructor Trainer Course will be held on the 7th and 8th of November from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM or on the 10th and 11th of November from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The price is $225. To sign up for the course, call 800 729 7234 or +1 949 858 7234 extension 2320, or email anna.bennett@padi.com.
