QCA Accreditation extended for PADI Programme

PADI International Ltd are delighted to announce that the PADI Instructor Development programme (IDC/IE) has been granted an extension to its vocational accreditation timeframe by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA).

The PADI Level 3 Certificate in Scuba Instruction was the first scuba qualification in the UK to be approved on this framework in September 2002, and set the benchmark for vocational scuba programmes. PADI’s accreditation for this course on the National Qualifications Framework in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, now extends through to 31st August 2008. This extension represents a further acknowledgement of the standing of the PADI Instructor Development programme in the educational field.
