Our featured video of this week comes from SubNauta, who have filmed a diver’s journey around the Hermenegildo Capelo Frigate at the Ocean Revival Underwater Park on June 29th, 2015.
The Hermenegildo Capelo Frigate is one of four decommissioned Portuguese’s Navy Vessels sank intentionally at the Ocean Revival Park.
The Ocean Revival Park project has the ambition to create a new diving site and place the Algarve as a world-class European diving destination. Additionally, the initiative aims to generate a new type of low season tourism, to contribute for the increase of bio-diversity and to preserve the memory of the Portuguese Navy vessels.
