Introduction to Technical Diving:

If you have wondered what technical diving was all about, come along to this presentation covering the full range of PADI technical diving courses. The presentation will cover definitions of the various technical diving areas as well as the equipment required and the various training programmes you need to get you started.

Inspiring Underwater Photographers:

Visitors are invited to the must-see “Inspiring Underwater Photographers” presentation.  Dr. John Carlin is a passionate PADI diver, qualified marine biologist and keen underwater photographer and will explore the components of taking great underwater photos. Visitors will hear expert hints and tips on turning an average shot into an exceptional one, and learn the best ways to share their images with others to inspire them to discover what lies beneath the surface of our oceans.

PADI Specialities – 2014:

As trends and techniques in scuba diving develop, PADI continues to evolve its range of PADI Specialty courses to ensure that divers and instructor are able to keep abreast of new changes through its suite of cutting edge educational courses. Now you can learn more about three of the most popular and diverse specialties released in recent years. The new PADI Free Diver course was released earlier in 2014, providing basic and entry level free diver training; the PADI Self Reliant Diver and the ever popular PADI Sidemount Diver course.

Project AWARE – Dive Against Debris:

Learn more about the new Project AWARE course: the Dive Against Debris Distinctive Specialty.

Now divers of all experience levels can be equipped with better knowledge of debris issues and empowered with the skills to complete ongoing Dive Against Debris surveys.  From planning the dive to reporting the debris data, the new course prepares divers to become citizen scientists and debris activists. Join the growing army of volunteers combatting ocean trash.

PADI Equipment Speciality and the NEW Equipment Touch:

As the market leader in diver education, PADI continues to innovate new training tools – the latest addition being the Equipment Specialty – Touch. Find out more about the PADI Equipment Specialty itself, and this exciting new training tool, by attending this talk given by PADI Training Consultants.
